Welcome to the Woodside Avenue Methodist Church

Woodside Avenue Methodist Church is on the south side of the City of Coventry, just off the A45 close to its junction with the Kenilworth Road, one of the main exits from the city to the south. Please click on the 'Where are we' button to the left to see a map of where to find us.

Our membership is about 97 and our Minister is the Reverend Andrew de Ville, who also looks after the Earlsdon Methodist church. We have close links with other denominations through the South Coventry Church Council Group.

We host many activities in the local community and we actively seek to promote groups in our locality.

Our main services of worship are at 10.30 a.m. and at 6.30 p.m. each Sunday. We have a Junior Church for children aged 3 and upwards together with a Creche for the under three's at our Sunday morning service.

Baptisms
The minister is happy to baptise your new baby. The parents do not have to be churchgoers. The baptism can be at a Sunday morning service or at another time to suit you. You can have a cup of coffee with your guests afterwards in the church hall.

Weddings
Have your wedding in the light and airy church with its comfortable new chairs. There is plenty of parking in the repaved car park for all your guests. Check us out as a convenient local venue for your wedding.

Funerals
Give your relatives a church funeral service with their favourite hymns at your neighbourhood church before going on to the crematorium.
