Minister: Rev Andrew Charlesworth

Balsall Common is an expanding commuter village with a population of about 6,500 set in the rural area east of the Solihull Metropolitan Borough and adjoining the City of Coventry.

The Church is situated in Station Road, Balsall Common, near to the shopping centre which forms the hub of the village and readily accessible from all parts of the village.

Rev Andrew Charlesworth

Our membership of 100+ is ministered to by Reverend Andrew Charlesworth as part of an ecumenical ministry team against a background of a very successful "Churches Together in Balsall and Berkswell". A Covenant with the Anglican Church of St Peter's, Balsall Common was signed in January 2001 and renewed in 2007. This paves the way for closer links between the 2 churches and a sharing of ministry in the village.

The church has a strong and valued community presence and we seek to build and develop this.

Our main service of worship is in the morning at 10.30am each Sunday.

Junior Church and a Young People's Fellowship meet during this service and a Family Room is available where parents or Carers, or a CRB checked Family Steward can stay with children too young, or not ready, for Junior Church. There is sight and sound of the service and toys for the children to play with.

We also hold evening services twice a month at 6.30 p.m. which we share with Meriden Methodist Church and for which the location alternates between Meriden and Balsall Common.

"Still the Rhythm" Alternative Worship services take place 3-4 times a year.

More details of these and our other activities are defined in the "What do we do" section or email either the minister or the church.

Please join us; you are very welcome!
