Balsall Common is an expanding commuter village with a population of about 6,500 set in the rural area east of the Solihull Metropolitan Borough and adjoining the City of Coventry.

The Church is situated in Station Road, Balsall Common, near to the shopping centre which forms the hub of the village and readily accessible from all parts of the village.

janebraundOur membership of 89  is ministered to by the Rev Jane Braund, as part of an ecumenical ministry team against a background of a very successful “Churches Together in Balsall and Berkswell”.

The church has a strong and valued community presence and we seek to build and develop this.

Our main service of worship is in the morning at 10.30am each Sunday.

At present Junior Church is not active as the children attending outgrew its provision but a new ecumenical group, Churches Together in Balsall and Berkswell Youth Group has been formed in the village to meet the needs of the young people in the village. They rotate the venue monthly around the participating churches and details of dates and venues can be found here on the Activities page.

However, children and young people are very welcome at all Church services and may either remain in church for the whole service or go into a room that has sight and sound of the service for all or part of the time where they can play or do provided activities while parents/carers can still feel part of the service.

More details of these and our other activities are defined in the “Activities” section.
